“Engaging, funny, artistic and enthusiastic” are words often used to describe Quasnaya. She is known for her positive attitude. The 15-year-old is a talented singer who enjoys listening to music, drawing, and arts and crafts. She loves being active by participating in a variety of activities including gymnastics, cheerleading and skating. Her favorite foods are spaghetti, chicken and macaroni and cheese.
Quasnaya likes dogs, especially pit bulls, and would like to have one some day. She is doing well in school and plans to attend college. Her plans for the future include becoming a lawyer.
Therapy is helping her deal with emotional and behavioral challenges resulting from her traumatic childhood and the many separations and losses she has experienced. Quasnaya has the potential to be successful and reach her personal goals. However, she cannot do this alone. She needs the freedom to grow, to give and receive love and to feel that she belongs.
Quasnaya wants very much to be adopted. She yearns for a patient, supportive family that will love and care for her and will provide a stable, secure environment for her. The best home for her would be with a single mother and where they are no other children. It would be great if the household included a dog. Quasnaya is close to her brother and the contact should be maintained.
