David, 14, has a wide variety of interests, including arts and crafts, playing the drums, riding his bike, watching action movies and playing video games, especially those involving sports. He likes all kinds of sports — football, baseball, basketball, soccer and kickball. He says he’s a huge Philadelphia sports fan, and loves the Eagles, Sixers, Flyers and Phillies. His favorite colors are red, white and blue.

When David grows up, he would like to either play professional sports or work at Foot Locker. In the near future, he is hoping to get a job after school and on weekends at Foot Locker or McDonalds. If he could have three wishes, they would be to get a job, to have a new basketball and to get a new bike.

David likes school and usually gets good grades. It’s not surprising that gym is his favorite subject. Some day he would like to attend Duke University.

He has definite ideas about his ideal adoptive family. He would like a mom and a dad, but would also consider a single parent. He would like to have some younger children in the family because he feels he is good working with younger kids. Pets would be nice, especially cats and dogs. He wants an active family that likes to travel. David likes going to church and wants a family that will take him there. He says he can offer a family “niceness and goodness.”
