Kenneth is a bright and talented 17-year-old. Friendly, respectful and courteous, he rarely has a problem in his foster placement or at school. Kenneth has a variety of interests and abilities. Very active and athletic, he likes sports and plays basketball and volley ball. He enjoys music and plays the guitar. He recently started taking piano lessons. Kenneth also has a creative side, which is evident from his skillful drawings and the poetry he writes.

Kenneth does well in school in regular education classes and maintains a B average. He will enter the 12th grade in the Fall and hopes to attend college and major in Business

Administration. An independent teen, Kenneth has a part-time job after school and has his driver’s license.

Kenneth has experienced many separations, losses and disappointments in his young life and would benefit greatly from the permanency, commitment and guidance that an adoptive family could provide. The family should be open to the support services that Kenneth needs. He is close to his younger brother and the contact should be maintained. He is eligible for financial subsidy.
